A COMPARATIVE STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF THE ENGLISH TEXTBOOKS OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF GUJARAT IN THE LIGHT OF NCF 2005

Abstract

In this modern era, English language is the link language in almost all the field. Students from the school level it is necessary to learn in a proper way to build their confidence in this competitive world. In this research paper, the researcher studied “A Comparative Study and Analysis of The English Textbooks of Secondary Schools of Gujarat in the Light of NCF 2005”. Secondary Schools textbooks are published by Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) by following NCF 2005.There are ten parameters randomly selected from the NCF 2005 and analyse each lesson from the textbooks of grade IX and X, Secondary School of Gujarat.
