Chairman's Reception and BanquetThe SMPTE Chicago Section continues to provide cffective leadership in the midwestern audiovisual community with its many activities during the year.culminating in the Midwinter SymposiundChairman's Reception and Awards Banquet.'This year's prestigious event was held on Saturday evening. 2 December, in thc new Penthouse Ballroom, high atop the Ramada-O'Hare inn.ovcrlooking the nighttinic activity of O H a r e Field. the world's busicst airport.This is the annual occasion at which rnenihers and gucsts of the Section gather to recognize those post chairmen who have given so freely of their time and talent so that the Section might continue to grow and prosper.On this special cvcning.all past chairmen and their wivcs are the dinner gucsts of the Chicago Section.
