Abstract
Combined transplant of matched donor hematopoietic stem cells with human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells is safe in pediatric patients with severe aplastic anemia. The achievement of engraftment in all of our patients and the acceptable frequency of acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease and survival rate are encouraging.
