It insults nurses to refer to their work as a privilege
Nursing Standard2008Vol. 22(41), pp. 33–33
Abstract
I am a mature student nearing the end of my final placement. Jane Bates’s column on how we should be unperturbed by the lack of professional perks nurses get (reflections May 21) makes depressing reading. It also confirms what I have learnt about many nurses’ attitudes towards themselves.
