- An electromagnetic field in the vicinity of the magnetized Kerr-Newman black hole is studied. In the extreme case, the field does not thread the horizon of an electrically neutral configuration. Analogically, the magnetic field is expelled out of an extreme black hole with zero angular momentum. Uniqueness of the magnetized Schwarzschild black hole is discussed.(2010)
