Abstract
Lifetime and cost are still big challenging for OLED products. Newly developed OLED panels for automobile applications have been introduced. The trend of the backplane technologies for OLEDs has also been reviewed and discussed. If the Oxide TFT can achieve high mobility of 50cm 2 /Vs with Self‐alignment structure and sufficient stability, then LTPO TFTs are no more necessary for OLED backplanes.
