Abstract
Densities and viscosities for the methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM][PF6]) ionic liquid binary system, over the whole concentration range in the temperature range from (283.15 to 353.15) K, were measured by using an Anton Paar DMA 5000 densimeter and an Anton Paar AMVn Measuring Assembly, respectively. The excess molar volumes VE were calculated by using the measured experimental densities and correlated by the Redlich−Kister type equation. The correlation results are in good agreement with the experimental data, and optimal fitting parameters are present. All the VE values within the scope of research are negative and become more and more negative with increasing temperature.
