Theη-baryon octet
Physical review. D. Particles, fields, gravitation, and cosmology/Physical review. D. Particles and fields1992Vol. 46(9), pp. 4095–4096
Abstract
The recent tantalizing experimental support for an $\ensuremath{\eta}$-baryon ${J}^{P}={\frac{1}{2}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ unmixed octet challenges conventional model wisdom. The establishment of the $\ensuremath{\Xi}(1868)$ member of the $\ensuremath{\eta}$ octet will give strong affirmation that the negative-parity baryon mass spectrum could be mixing-free.
