Abstract

This paper presents a review of research work and methodologies in the field of handwritten signature verification. Handwritten signature is one of the biometrics used even before the advent of computers. There are two types of handwritten signatures: 1) Off-line signature and 2) On-line signature. This paper discusses various methodologies and issues. Further the review of various classifiers and matching techniques used lists in signature verification.
