Abstract
This thesis studies properties of the charmonium-like X(3872) state, which is an exotic matter candidate. Measurements are performed using a data sample collected with the CDF experiment. Constraints on spin, parity, and charge conjugation parity of the X(3872) are obtained by studying the angular distributions and correlations in the exclusive decay mode X(3872)->J/psi pi+ pi-. Information about the X(3872) mass shape is extracted and the X(3872) mass is obtained with best precision to date.
