Abstract
The article discusses methodological and practical aspects of foresight as a modern technology of strategic management, analyzes the terminological field of foresight, clarifies its classification, examines the features of the formation of for-site technologies in Belarus, systematizes the methodological tools of foresight research. Based on expert methods, a field study was conducted to determine the attitude of practicing specialists of domestic companies to foresight issues, the possibility of highlighting the features of domestic practice and reflecting problematic factors in the organization of foresight sessions, an algorithm for conducting foresight sessions was developed as a practical tool to design the future of organizations and improve the efficiency of their functioning in long-term period.
