20221 Picking Instruction for a Service Robot in a Daily Life Environment
The Proceedings of Conference of Kanto Branch2009Vol. 2009.15(0), pp. 181–182
Abstract
We are developing a task instruction system for supporting daily life activities. One of the important tasks for a service robot is fetching a specific object indicated by the user. The features of our task instruction system are 1) the object model is composed of a list of task models which can be applied to the object category, we call it "Object Template Model" (OTM); 2) the user recognizes the target object and teaches the robot to execute the picking task by selecting an OTM and a task model described in the OTM. The user can instruct the robot with just a few mouse clicks.
